Beat The Burnout: Mental Health Talk with Jay Getten

  • Arts On Fire 200 South 23rd Avenue Bozeman, MT, 59718 United States (map)

Having a tough time managing the stress of owning your own business? Join us to learn how to prevent burnout and recognize it when it sets in. Already in a state of burnout? We’ve been there. Get the tools you need to rest, recover, and come out of it at your own pace.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and Birdhouse Collective believes discussing our mental health is important. As creative small business owners, burnout can set in quickly and seemingly without notice. We’ve asked Jay Getten of Behavioral Health Consulting Solutions to chat about burnout and how it applies to artistic entrepreneurs.

Jay is a neurodivergent clinician with over ten years of experience working with diverse populations. Passionate about clinical research, he is dedicated to understanding neurodiversity at a deep level and is constantly studying peer-reviewed literature to identify current best practices to support his patients. He specializes in diagnosing complex patients and neurodivergent populations.

This chat will be geared towards small business owners in the arts industry with a focus on neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, etc.). You do not need to be considered neurodivergent to gain insight from this important conversation. Burnout affects us all and the tools we’ll learn from Jay can be applied in many ways.
